Weekend childbirth classes are offered once a month by Heather Vawter, PA-C, CCE. Our next available class is Friday February 10^th (6:30-8:30pm) and Saturday February 11^th (9am-3pm). This class is ideal for couples who cannot commit to multiple weekday classes.  Class is held in our Capitol Street location.  

The fee for this 8 hour class is $80 per couple.  Medicaid pays at 100%, but are responsible for the deposit.  A $15 deposit^* is requiered when you register for all participants, registration is not confirmed until registration fee is received.  (^*Deposit is non-refundable)

Topics discussed during class are nutrition, normal labor and delivery, breathing and relaxation techniques for labor, pain medications in labor, unexpected outcomes and postpartum care.   Please wear comfortable clothes (pants) and bring a pillow and small blanket.
